Ella's Nursery Reveal
Welcome to Ella’s Nursery!
Once I found out we were having a girl…I instantly knew two things:
1) I didn’t want it to be all about “pink”
2) I didn’t want a super girly girl nursery
Before Ella arrived, we did a lot of home improvements including painting the walls and getting all new floors. I guess nesting is really a thing!
It was important to me to keep her nursery as neutral as possible while adding boho accents! My goal was to find furniture that would be able to transition into something she could use once she gets older.
I fell in love with Crate + Kids and with the help of Grandma, we went with this crib and this dresser. The crib converts into a toddler bed and the dresser can easily transition with her as she gets older! The changing table topper and baskets I also got from Crate + Kids. Both her changing pad and changing pad cover is of course, organic!
My mom and I hand made her name, Ella Rose, with styrofoam board, toxic free paint and fake peonies. This was made originally for my baby shower (post to come) and I couldn’t bare to throw them away so, here they are over her crib~ the perfect accent!
I wanted a place for her baby books so I picked up these inexpensive shelves from Target! I love the lip on the end so things won’t fall off as easily. I also got this super awesome circle shelf from Target (I love Pillowfort™) to mix in some texture and metal. The braided rug is also from the Target Pillowfort™ collection.
The rocking chair, which honestly I haven’t spent in that much time yet, is from…Target! Haha I obviously love Target. They have such great pieces at such affordable prices!
How do you like the nursery? I would love to hear~ leave a comment below!
